ABOUT ATTORNEY MCCUE
Attorney McCue graduated from Marquette University in 1988. He then worked with for several years with homeless men, including two years as a counselor at Boston’s Pine Street Inn. In 1993, Attorney McCue then attended Suffolk Law School (cum laude 1993), where he was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for excellence in both Trial Practice and Ethics, and served as the President of the Suffolk Moot Court Board. Following law school, Attorney McCue served for two years in state and federal judicial clerkships. He then worked for ten years in mid size law firms in Boston and Worcester as a litigation associate. In 2003, Attorney McCue opened a solo practice with a focus on consumer and tort law. Attorney McCue’s consumer law practice focuses on telemarketing law. He has served as co-lead counsel on telemarketing class actions prosecuted to class certification and/or settlement, resulting in the recovery of over $17 million paid out to consumers and/or consumer oriented charities. Mr. McCue, and his co-counsel, are responsible for obtaining the largest illegal telemarketing settlements obtained in Massachusetts, West Virginia and Maryland. Attorney McCue is currently litigating telemarketing class actions in federal courts in Colorado, Illinois, West Virginia, Maryland and Massachusetts, and state courts in Maryland and Massachusetts. Attorney has successfully litigated several telemarketing related legal issues before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and is currently representing a consumer on a telemarketing related vicarious liability issue pending before the Federal Communications Commission. Attorney McCue’s solo practice also focuses on providing representation to victims of catastrophic personal injury, and their families. Attorney McCue has handled cases involving wrongful death, paralysis, and brain injury.
In 2003, Attorney McCue was recognized by Massachusetts Lawyer’s Weekly as one of five Up and Coming Attorneys. In 2010, Attorney McCue was recognized as a Super Lawyer by Boston Magazine for his expertise in Consumer Law.
Attorney McCue resides and works in Natick, Massachusetts with his wife and three children.
